No. Engagements start and finish in writing — email and shared documents — and the audit does not require a call at any point. Everything you would ask on a call gets a written answer you can forward to your team.
Your domain, three competitors you are compared against, and one person who can answer questions about the site. Everything else — prompt set, competitor list, engine coverage — I build and send you for approval before running anything.
Usually within one to two weeks, since I run four to six clients at a time. If the slate is full I will tell you the real date rather than start late and rush the measurement.
Yes, standard mutual NDAs are fine and I will sign yours rather than insist on mine. Note that published research never includes client data — studies use public data only, and clients are never named without written permission.
Rarely, and I will usually refer you on. The whole speed advantage comes from knowing the failure patterns in software categories; in a different industry I would be learning on your budget.
Two invoices in USD, paid by bank transfer: 50% ($450) when you approve the written scope, and 50% ($450) when the report is delivered, each due within seven days. Monitoring and retainers are invoiced monthly in advance.
